In December 1936 and Midsummer 1937 Alfred Nieman edited "The Student" priced 6 pence; a magazine for the Royal Academy of Music.
Very successful piano duo: their popularity grew up and until the beginning of the second world war. Alfred is to the right in the photograph.
Alfred Nieman wrote at least one article for "Composer" a magazine costing 5 shillings in the 1970's. "Composer" was the journal of The Composers' Guild of Great Britain. The Guild is now amalgamated into
"The British Academy of Composers & Songwriters".

A booklet of poetry published in 1970 by Outposts Publications, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. Alfred was actually registered with the name "Abbe" on his birth certificate.
